All employees of the MOSTI are automatically become members of the Resource Centre. They include permanent and contract personnel in the divisions, units and directorate of the ministry. One is required to fill in the membership form in order to use the facilities and services provided by the Resource Centre.
As a Resource Centre member, he/she has the privileges to:
Borrow Resource Centre materials.
Access physical collection of the resources available in the Resource Centre.
Access electronic databases subscribed by the Resource Centre.
Use Resource Centre multimedia resources at Multimedia Digital Room.
Use Resource Centre computer clusters for internet.
Get help with the use of Resource Centre services and collections.
Use study carrels.
Borrow materials obtained from Bulk Loan.
Receive Resource Centre Alert Service via e-mail from time to time.
Non-Members
Non-members who are interested to use the Resource Centre are required to register at the Resource Centre counter for every visit. They are allowed to access physical collection of the resources available in the Resource Centre, do reference and use the internet for official matters. However, the borrowing of Resource Centre materials should be channel through interlibrary loan (ILL).
